Auriane de Pierpont
Author
As a trained speech therapist, I love telling stories and playing with words. Since I was little, these words have danced in my head, and I take pleasure in putting them on paper and bringing them to life..
I write about what touches me, about what my heart dictates to me and what my mind inspires.
I write during the day... and at night too, when ideas jostle on the pillow.
I keep one foot (or even both sometimes) in the world of little ones, filled with curiosity, simplicity, creativity, a genuine spontaneity, and a joyful naivety. I integrate myself into their universe because I work with them, which allows me to be close to this lovely world on a daily basis. When I come home in the evening, a question often comes up, accompanied by a mischievous wink: "What did you play today?", followed by "Say mum, do you play with us now too?" ».
After obtaining my degree in 2010, I practised my profession for two years in Quebec. Two books were published there by a publishing house specialising in education. Upon my return, I worked with children with disabilities (motor, intellectual, autism), as well as with children facing language or literacy difficulties. Currently, alongside this publishing project, I am a teaching assistant at the university and still have a few patients, which brings me a great deal of joy.

Colombe Casey
Illustrator
Passionate about drawing since I was very young, it was my grandfather, a painter and sculptor, who passed on this love for watercolour by lending me all his beautiful materials! Winning numerous drawing competitions as a child, I have never stopped drawing.…
As an art historian, teacher, and member of the jury for an artistic section, internship supervisor for the aggregation, and research officer at UCLouvain in the Laboratory for the Study of Works of Art, my eye has continued to sharpen and my interest in drawing has become more pronounced. Always in my heart, my passion for illustration has grown increasingly with numerous commissions for invitations and a variety of personalised projects, but now also with several published projects. I have also followed with interest a training course in comic book illustration at the Boitsfort Academy..
My passion is now inspired by our three little ones.

Geoffroy Grandjean
Singer and songwriter
My parents enrolled my brother and sister in music lessons. As they didn't particularly take to it, they thought, "no need to try with the little one"... In the end, out of the three of us, it was me who found a passion for music.
I discovered the guitar during my studies. I would spend hours playing alongside friends, and we would inspire each other. I am an unconditional fan of the Beatles, Radiohead, Pink Floyd... and more generally of folk music. I love discovering new bands and going to concerts. When I get home or when I'm in the car, my instinct is to turn up the sound. If someone had told me ten years ago that I would be composing songs for children, I think I would have laughed... But here I am, a proud dad of three little boys (whose mum is none other than Auriane, a writer for Marmottons), my world has somewhat diversified. I take pleasure in composing a tune, thinking about the chords and sounds, and finding a rhythm that will stick in your head (parents might not thank me for that ;-). I enjoy chatting with musician friends to get their opinions and to improve myself. A beautiful adventure !

Annick Masson
Illustrator
After studying illustration at the Saint-Luc Institute in Liège, Annick worked in an animation studio and then as a layout artist at Mijade publishing. Currently, she is fully dedicated to illustrating children's books and collaborates with various youth magazines. With her watercolours and coloured pencils, Annick "sketches" the characters with talent and mischief. She gives them both character and sensitivity. Her illustrations, soft and humorous, are full of details to observe.
Annick has been drawing since she was very small... At that time, any surface could be decorated, even walls and pillowcases ;-). When she illustrates (on sheets of paper now), she becomes a child again. Drawing is her "ikigai": a Japanese philosophical concept that signifies the reason for living or the daily motivation that brings joy and satisfaction. Annick loves being in contact with children; reading her stories to them and observing their reactions..
In her family, each member has their artistic flair. Her husband writes and is a teacher in illustration and comics, her daughter draws, her son plays the piano and studies video game design.
Annick's bibliography is starting to be as thick as a telephone directory.
We are honoured to collaborate with this incredible illustrator, both human and skilled..

Maud Roegiers
Illustrator
Sur ses cahiers, il y a toujours eu plus de dessins que d’écriture...
"Quand je serai grande, je serai illustratrice !
Mais dessiner ? C’est un métier ? "
Maud dabbled in styling and FX makeup before ultimately focusing on graphic design and illustration.
Mother of three kids, she has specialized in children's drawing.
She is also a co-founder and designer of the furniture brand Elysta. Today, she illustrates numerous children's books and offers invitations, illustrations, custom graphics, logos, and graphic charters.
Maud composes with gouache, pencil, collage, acrylic or digital media. You will have understood, whether it is drawings, brushes or pencils, she embraces them without hesitation. !
The illustrations by Maud are filled with poetry, gentleness, and sensitivity. The depth of soul given to her characters is palpable, and her settings are dreamlike. Often associated with strong or moving texts, her illustrations do not leave one indifferent; it is not uncommon to have tears in the corner of one's eyes when reading some of her titles..
We are delighted to collaborate with this great artist, in every sense of the word !

Maud De Bel
Author
Maude wears several hats: recruitment manager, personal development coach, and... children's author.
She is also a fulfilled mother, blessed by the love of her two beloved children. In her home, creativity is key, and everyone thrives in their passion; making desserts and stories for her daughter and composing songs for her big boy. When Maude talks about them, her eyes sparkle with joy..
As far back as she can remember, Maude has always loved telling stories.
She puts all her heart and enthusiasm into it and often brings a fresh perspective to her stories. With her mum hat subtly on, she tackles important subjects for children with lightness and humour. She likes to say that it’s little Maude who writes her stories..

Coralie Saudo
Autrice / illustratrice
